#StandWithOwners grand prize winner - AquaVerti Farms

Amongst the winners are Georges Aczam and Stephen Moss, the
owners of AquaVerti Farms Inc., who will receive $125,000+ in funding and more. AquaVerti is a vertical farm based in Montreal, Quebec.

As shared on their website, AquaVerti was founded by Georges Aczam, a 24-year-old Syrian immigrant studying finance in Montreal. The idea of creating AquaVerti came after he read an article mentioning that if the United States closed its borders, there would only be enough food for Canadians for 48 hours.
