Saudi Arabia: Scaling up an existing indoor farm

"Our latest generation of indoor vertical farming technology has put down roots in Saudi Arabia," shares the YesHealth team.

YesHealth has started the construction of its latest Saudi vertical farm. The team has begun to scale up Mowreq's original farm, as seen in the picture below, in Jeddah, which has been supplying Saudi consumers with fresh produce under the Jana Farms brand since 2019. The farm is slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2023.

F.l.t.r.: Jesper Hansen, Modar Hisham Nazer, Dana Enany, Winston Tsai, Chang Wen-Long (Head of R&D Engineering, YesHealth Group) and Najeeb Khan.

The farm will be a commercial farm, as well as an R&D center where Mowreq's team can do various tests with the technology delivered by YesHealth Group in preparation for the opening of the 'massive' commercial farm in Riyadh next year.
