Under the umbrella of this joint venture, NKK Investments aims to introduce UrbanKisaan's affordable hydroponic and vertical farming technology to Omani farmers.

Vihari doesn't see vertical farming as just the future; it's the present that we're actively shaping. Especially with countries with less arable land or less land itself like island nations or countries with increasing populations like India with decreasing yields due to bad soil health, these to us are current day problems and not of the future. Vertical farming offers a solution that's both space-efficient and sustainable.
"I envision a world where cities become self-sufficient in their food production, drastically reducing carbon footprints associated with food transportation. As technology continues to evolve, vertical farms will become more accessible, affordable, and integral to our daily lives, ensuring fresh, local produce is always within reach," he adds.
