"Handling farm processes from anywhere other than on-site isn't an issue anymore with our recently updated farming system, iGrowMaestro. It allows growers to be interconnected with their farms through the cloud, managing every production process via the SaaS and IoT run system. Ever since last month, this software has been applied in all of our products at a commercial scale," says Ghulam Abbas, Sales manager at GrowSpec.
GrowSpec is a Chinese developer and manufacturer of vertical farming solutions. With over 80% of their products designed, tested, and manufactured in-house, Ghulam explains that they can easily meet customer requests if tailored solutions need to be created.
From LED supplier to a turnkey solution
Starting as a lighting supplier, GrowSpec has been supplying a large range of LEDs over time for any kind of crop in various setups. As well as adding numerous lighting recipes to their portfolio for edible- and even now, tailored formulas for medical crops.
"Adding air handling systems and grow racks not long after our LED, we have now broadened our global product offering even more; the LeafyCube (a growing cabinet), three types of container farms, vertical farms, and the BioCube (a small-sized farm) tackling consumer- and commercial market. Alongside, we provide consulting and training for growers that just got into the game of vertical farming to help, guide and train them for what's coming," says Ghulam.

"Any GrowSpec farm comes as a whole, including LED, temperature monitoring, growing recipes, irrigation, and software, of course. It's a plug-and-play product for anyone that wants to hit the ground running when it comes to farming," Ghulam adds.
LeafyCube
Introducing the latest D2C product: the LeafyCube
Its latest brainchild is the LeafyCube, which the team has been working on for the past years as they've seen a rise in domestic farming across Southeast Asia.
Mainly used to cultivate off-season fruits, flowers and medicinal plants, or even research, the main purpose is to grow products at accessible locations and within hand reach. "We tried to ease it as much as we could for the user, adopting a complete environmental control system, irrigation, lighting and a fertilizer system," Ghulam points out.
"Quality control is something we value a lot here at GrowSpec, having an ISO9001 approved certificate, we're committed to providing high-efficiency, energy-saving indoor cultivation equipment. We've been ever since 2015 when we started providing solutions for vertical farming and greenhouse farming. We can't wait to develop more for the CEA market."
