Becks has received planning permission for a greenhouse and raised vegetable garden so he and his wife Victoria can grow their own fruit and vegetables.

And he has now asked for planning permission to build another road into his Cotswolds area while the greenhouse is being built.

But a neighbor objected.

She told West Oxfordshire County Council: “Hello, I am opposed because it is an unnecessary use of material. There is already an access road to the property. So what’s the point of laying another road just to build a fancy greenhouse? That seems pointless and a waste of resources.”

And he has asked planners if he can build a new access road to connect his rural retreat to an existing dirt track leading from the original road to his home.

He wants to divert construction traffic over the new route and has asked West Oxfordshire County Council for permission to build a 250m road.

A planning application to the local council stated: “This homeowner application requests planning permission for the establishment of a vegetable garden with raised beds together with a traditional greenhouse.”

“The proposed kitchen garden is laid out in a formal style, with raised beds arranged symmetrically around a central path.

“The greenhouse is traditional in style and faces south, overlooking the vegetable garden framed by fruit trees and set against a backdrop of a formal hedge and an established mixed native hedge.”
