AcreVisionSM was developed in response to FBN research, which revealed that 93% of farmers conduct land research before deciding to acquire farmland. This free-to-use solution offers farmers a comprehensive, easy-to-use platform to evaluate potential parcels. The tool aggregates essential information about farmland parcels and local market trends into a single report, facilitating efficient and informed decisions.

Farmers can utilize AcreVisionSM to access various data points such as tillable acres, productivity index, cropping history, soil type maps, elevation, slope, terrain wetness, comparable sales, and cropping history across over 630 million acres and 15 million parcels. The tool incorporates dozens of public data sets into proprietary analytical models, which allows growers to understand the full potential of land parcels. It’s worth noting that individual grower data is not used in farmland evaluations.

This announcement comes amidst a series of recent advances by FBN. The company introduced an “Instant Approval” financing option for land purchases, offering faster, more convenient access to capital for qualified applicants. FBN also unveiled Norm, an AI-powered chatbot, the first of its kind in the industry, designed to provide agronomic guidance.
