This spring, the company’s robot, equipped with an upper frame for UV-C treatment of crops, was showcased for the first time at the tradeshow Fruit Logistica in Berlin.
The company has invested heavily in sensor technology for its robot. The model displayed in Berlin was fitted with 3D cameras, 2- and 3D Lidar, and ultrasonic sensors. The company’s primary objective is to ensure the robot’s safety in anticipation of forthcoming European regulations for autonomous driving.
