After rushing through the hallways of the RAI, soaring through the streets of Amsterdam, or floating on the Dutch canals, everyone seems to have landed at work again and is trying to get back into their normal work routines, us at least.
The vertical farming sector was very well represented in comparison to last year, as more than 70 companies were exhibiting, and even more visitors were able to come by the event in person.

As the industry has received quite some backlash when it comes to the cost-effectiveness of the system, the conversations at GreenTech proved otherwise. Luckily, we've heard of some exciting new projects that are in the pipeline for 2023 and beyond. Whether it's strawberry farms in North America, a large vertical farm in Saudi Arabia, or farms in Eastern Europe, it is easier to state the negative than to present actual data. Thus, on the contrary, the industry is still growing!
That's why we'd like to issue a call to action for all suppliers. If you have exciting projects that you'd like to see featured on our platforms, please do reach out. We can prove the counterpoint!
