Agriconnect, UK’s leading agricultural information company, has announced the acquisition of Low Carbon Agriculture (LCA) from Renewable Energy Events Ltd. The LCA consists of four co-located events: the Energy Now Expo, Environmental Business Expo, Farm Technology Expo, and Low Emissions Vehicle Expo.
These events will be integrated into Agriconnect’s business, which includes Farmers Guardian and industry-leading events such as LAMMA, Croptec, Future Farming Expo, and Farm Business Innovation. As sustainability and net zero are critical in the agriculture sector, this partnership aims to equip farmers with the necessary information to guide their businesses through the transition to energy-efficient, environmentally-friendly farming.
David Jacobmeyer, founder of LCA, will collaborate with Agriconnect to foster the event’s growth within the farming community and provide information on renewables, low-carbon solutions, and best environmental practices. Jacobmeyer notes that the farming community is instrumental in achieving net-zero goals and that farmers and landowners must collaborate to boost sustainable production and address climate change.
