Is it ‘one-size-doesn’t-fit-all’ in the end?

“At Bruynzeel, we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all, having dealt with numerous suppliers and stakeholders in different environments. Yet, that really improved our in-house capabilities being able to offer a customized solution for any project we’ve taken on thus far. That’s why we don’t shy away from a challenge, as we’re certain to deliver a system that specifically meets the customer’s needs,” says Alexander Collot d’Escury, CEO of Bruynzeel Storage Systems.

Founded in 1897 in the Netherlands and given its strong heritage in mobile storage solutions since the ’50s, Bruynzeel has seen it all when it comes to housing numerous products in the most constrained buildings. Present in over 65 countries and executing over 4000 projects a year, the project support team and their in-house R&D innovation center provide a tailored solution for everyone.

Every project is unique
Bringing their long heritage and expertise in mobile storage solutions, flexibility is vital for Bruynzeel. “From advanced lighting and irrigation integration to customizable growing configurations, the company’s mobile grow rack solutions empower system integrators and growers to fine-tune environmental conditions and cultivate more abundant crops.

“We know all projects are different and therefore don’t think in fixed dimensions and believe that offering maximum flexibility delivers maximum synergies, maximum efficiencies, and maximum results as an outcome. Whether you’re developing a new leafy greens farm, scaling up your cannabis facility, or developing new crop recipes for soft fruits, our system can house it all,” explains Alexander.

Sustainable and durable steel for a longer lifespan
As part of their innovation vision, they use high-quality and sustainable materials for longevity, resulting in less maintenance and reducing the integrated environmental footprint. It’s all about eyeing sustainability and, especially, adopting that in every process of the supply chain.

“According to the UN¹, nearly 40% of the yearly CO2 emissions come from the construction of buildings and its operations. Optimizing 3D space utilization at our customers, applying long-lasting low-carbon materials, and being Climate Neutral in our own operations, significantly contribute to lowering CO2 emissions in this transformational industry. We are proud to provide the most sustainable choice for those who want to make a positive impact on the world,” Alexander adds.

Bruynzeel is now able to offer Bruynzeel SteelGuard®, which provides over three times the corrosion resistance compared to galvanized steel. On top of that, it has a self-healing effect which ensures rigid edge - and scratch protection, ensuring the longevity of the product. Then, there’s also the opportunity to pick Bruynzeel’s GreenSteel®, a steel option that reduces CO2 emissions by 90% compared to galvanized steel.
