South Africa: Urban farmers in Mandela Bay Metro can finally work the land

Urban farmers from the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro can breathe a sigh of relief. This was after the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality had leased 5 700 hectares of land to over 150 communal farmers.
The municipality will allow them to use the municipal land to farm crops and livestock for the next five years.
