Ramin Ebrahimnejad joins Advanced Plant Growth Centre as Business Development Manager

Ramin Ebrahimnejad has joined the Advanced Plant Growth Centre as Business Development Manager. He previously worked at the Association for Vertical Farming as Senior project manager, Vice Chair of the board, and Head of Science and Education.

"As someone who is passionate about sustainability and innovation in agriculture, I couldn't be more excited about this opportunity. I am looking forward to working with industry leaders, investors, and technology partners who share our vision of revolutionizing the future of agriculture. With your input and support, we can drive innovation and create new solutions that address some of the most pressing challenges in agriculture today," he shared on LinkedIn.

As a Business Development Manager, Ramin's role will be to identify and engage with interested stakeholders, foster partnerships, and drive growth in the sector.

Ramin is excited to work alongside a team of experts at James Hutton Ltd, and together, they aim to drive innovation and create new business opportunities that benefit all stakeholders in Scotland, the UK, and other countries.

The Advanced Plant Growth Centre is a unique entity at The James Hutton Institute that bridges the gap between academia and industry and brings technologies in vertical farming, controlled environment agriculture, plant breeding, and post-harvest operations to the marketplace.
