From their website:

Once our botanicals are ready to process, we disinfect all our lab equipment and space with 99% Isopropyl alcohol, weigh the botanicals out and process them into extracts, using organic glycerin and propanediol, and into hydrosols through distillation.

We use a nominal amount of a preservative made of sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate that are both on the whole foods, credo beauty and Sephora clean ingredient lists to ensure our extracts stay safe throughout the extraction process.

Once our botanicals have been processed, they go to a lab in New Jersey for testing where we perform the below tests to ensure the safety of our botanicals and their use in topical applications.

Once the tests have been performed and approved, the extracts are then sent to our manufacturing facility, also in New Jersey, where they’re then used in production.

After production, our products go in for a second round of testing for all the below to ensure the production process is also done without contamination.
