Excerpts:

If given the go-ahead, the scheme would include second floor and rooftop terraced garden areas and ground-floor commercial units.

“The roof garden will be solely for the building tenants and will be spread across the second floor roof and eighth floor rooftop.

“Alongside the shared amenity spaces, every apartment will have a balcony as their private amenity space overlooking the city centre and streetscape.”

The site was once occupied by Hull’s first purpose-built Jewish Synagogue which opened in 1903 and was enlarged thirty years later.

The synagogue was badly damanged by bombing during the Second World War and was subsequently re-built.

Complete story.
