Hong Kong: K-FARM and Wildroots Organic

Fai is a Royal Horticulture Society (RHS) certified horticulturist. He earned the IFOAM Organic Agriculture Inspector certification and has worked on production organic farms in Taiwan.

K-FARM

K-FARM would be the first urban farm in Hong Kong incorporating hydroponics, aquaponics and organic farming systems. Under our ‘Farm to Care’ Project, general public can learn different farming knowledge and technologies in our farming facilities through guided tours, taught programs and farming activities and can also enjoy the open, relaxing and beautiful environment in the farm.

K-farm aims to promote the idea of ‘Farm to Care’ to the public:
Care for our physical and mental health
Care for underprivileged
Care for the environment
?
Our vision is to build sustainable and caring communities by promoting physical and mental wellbeing and social inclusion through series of farming activities in different districts, and to provide an open space for leisure and relaxation.

Wildroots Organic

We setup rooftop farms, build edible landscapes and provide professional horticulture consulting, management and maintenance services, including supplying seedlings from our nursery.

We teach Organic Farming & Environmental Sustainability workshops for schools, companies and organisations. Our Urban Farming workshops teach participants how to grow their own organic herbs and vegetables in small spaces. Our programs bring community, sustainability, education and joy to your organization.

Workshops and events can be conducted at your venue or at our farm in Sheung Shui, Hong Kong.

Our programs are taught by Fai Hui, a Royal Horticulture Society certified grower, IFOAM organic inspector and rooftop farming specialist.
