Scott has always had an obsession with creating and crafting the very finest edge possible on a knife, shear or garden tool. It is absolutely true that a sharp knife is a safe knife, but what’s more, it’s also a fun knife. It’s just a more effective and efficient tool to get the job done.
Originally from Australia, Scott has lived in multiple countries all over the world, but finds the unique beauty of B.C.’s mountains, lakes, and rivers, truly breathtaking. What started as a real appreciation for fine knives, swords and other martial arts instruments many years ago, led him to starting a mobile sharpening business out in Toronto. A move out to the Southern Gulf Islands saw him servicing many of the local restaurants, farmers markets, and residences on the islands, before settling in the Vancouver area two years ago.
