Searing heat: ‘Dangerous’ heat indices hit Metro Manila, 28 other areas. PAGASA said a heat index of 47°C was recorded in Dagupan City, Pangasinan, and Aparri, Cagayan, followed by a heat index of 46°C in Aborlan, Palawan.

It also recorded a heat index of 45°C in Bacnotan, La Union, and Sangley Point, Cavite.
