When people think of Hackney, they probably picture busy high streets, vibrant nightlife, and an abundance of coffee shops.
But beyond the pubs and sirens of east London, there’s a hidden oasis of calm – Hackney City Farm.
People who work there say they find the animals and soil a great leveller, and they grow in confidence whilst working outside in the fresh air.
