DouxMatok Rebrands to Incredo

DouxMatok has rebranded and will now be known as Incredo LTD, coinciding with the company's completion of its Series C funding round.

DouxMatok has recently undergone significant rebranding and will now be known as Incredo LTD. This rebranding coincides with the company’s successful completion of a Series C funding round, raising $30 million. The funding will support research and development, integrate Incredo’s flagship product, Incredo® Sugar, into various applications, and expedite commercial partnerships. The funding round was led by DSM-Firmenich Venturing and Sienna Venture Capital, with participation from strategic commercial partners such as Ferrero and investments from new investors including Teseo Capital and existing investors Pitango and BlueRed Partners.

Incredo LTD aims to revolutionize how sugar is used in food products through its groundbreaking product, Incredo Sugar. This innovative sugar reduction solution allows for a 30-50% reduction in sugar content in sweet foods without compromising taste, mouthfeel, or texture. Incredo Sugar achieves this by binding cane or beet sugar with trace amounts of a natural carrier, facilitating the delivery of sugar molecules to sweet taste receptors on the tongue. As a result, less sugar is needed to achieve the same level of sweetness, making it a game-changer for the food industry.

Ari Melamud, the CEO of Incredo LTD, expressed his excitement about the rebranding and funding, stating, “Now that our flagship product, Incredo Sugar, has become commercially available and is gaining more awareness within the industry, we have decided to simplify our communications by unifying our identity under the name ‘Incredo.’ This powerful brand will be memorable to our customers as we gear up for continuous growth and commercialization.” The funding secured through the Series C round will enable Incredo to expand its research, development, and commercialization efforts, making Incredo Sugar more widely available. Incredo aims to accelerate the commercialization of Incredo Sugar this year, with expanded availability across the United States, Europe, and Israel.
