Syngenta Crop Protection and Biotalys have announced a new collaboration to research, develop and commercialize innovative biocontrol solutions to manage pests in various crops. The solution will be based on Biotalys’ AGROBODY™ technology and will offer farmers a new mode of action to counter the threat of pest resistance and advance sustainable agriculture.
Syngenta will collaborate with Biotalys on a research program to use its AGROBODY™ technology platform for Syngenta’s specific insect targets as part of the cooperation. Syngenta’s Head of Crop Protection Research, Camilla Corsi, stated that the partnership with Biotalys is part of the company’s agricultural innovation ecosystem and demonstrates their commitment to bringing farmers cutting-edge technologies that improve the sustainability of agriculture.
