Akko Convention on Urbanism

We had the honor of discussing nature-based solutions vis-a-vis urban development and climate change at the Akko Convention on Urbanism, held in partnership with the UN’s UN-HABITAT this past October, 2021.

VF’s head of research, Hila Bar spoke on the panel “Sustainability and Innovation- Urban Growth Engines” about the role of vertical farming as a method of improving environmental and health conditions in the urban ecosystem. We look forward to deepening our partnerships in the private and academic sectors and continuing to investigate ways to enhance vertical farming as a sustainable method of farming.
