THE Department of Agriculture (DA) 7 has tapped actor Richard Yap as DA Central Visayas’ urban agriculture ambassador.

According to DA 7 Director Salvador Diputado, Yap’s role will be crucial in the agency’s campaign towards food production and other key agricultural programs by promoting it to the Cebuanos.

“With ‘Sir Chief’ as our ambassador, the region’s cause for food production will be achieved,” Diputado said in a statement.
