With ideal weather conditions, Windsorites are making headway with their Victory Hardens. In most areas of the city residents are preparing the ground and planting seeds, in an endeavor to ensure that home needs of vegetables will be met and the strain on national production curbed.

Commitments for overseas shipment remain heavy and all who can care being encouraged to have Victory Gardens. Shown left are Mr. and Mrs. Stasko, 1788 Alexis Street, preparing ground for their garden. Mr. Harry Pamment, 1532 George Ave is seen right planting seeds.
