WASHINGTON (ABC7) — Little Wild Things City Farm produces soil-grown microgreens, shoots, and edible flowers on less than one-quarter acre in the heart of Washington, D.C.

When COVID-19 hit back in March, they had to rethink their mostly wholesale business that supplied fresh greens to area restaurants.

Mary Ackley says “I lost about 90% of my business in a one week period.” That is when she decided to try home delivery for the first time and it was a success.

The business is now thriving and Mary hopes to continue serving the DMV with fresh produce grown right here in Washington, D.C.
